DEATH WISH CUSTOMS

as promised, here's my "review" of Death Wish Customs. Barrett Nilson is a super chill guy with knowledge WAY ahead of his age (he's 20!). but i can sit and talk with him about random shit like where the tattoo culture is headed, rubs and posers, and anything that might have any kind of importance for hours. i consider Barrett my friend even though i've only known him a very short while. Death Wish is pretty much a one man show, with his dad helping him out every once in a while.

here's his shop truck. it screams at every expensive luxury sedan that drives by. it breaks up the monotony of flat black customs and it's perfect.

cool shit all over the shop. this bad ass truck was tucked away in the corner. i can't wait to see it done!

a couple things he had in the shop. i'm so insanely STOKED to run that Invader as my front rim. he welded up the bars and was gonna go with an internal throttle, but as projects pile up, as everyone else, Mr. Nilson has to put shit on the back burner. i told him i loved them things, but i don't wanna run anything inside. so he's gonna slug'em and weld'em up. one of a kind bars. i fuckin love'em. and the front end needs a seal kit, but i'm one step closer to a running chopper.

this is Arturo's bike. nothing like it in these 3 cities, that's for sure. sick bike for an amazing tattoo artist. go talk to this dude and tell him Danny sent you. he's over at Freebird on clearwater ave in Kennewick, Wa.

here's a frame he did for his senior project. there's a lot of grown ass men that can't weld themselves out of a carboard box, and this guy did up a whole damn frame when he was in high school.

there's my frame. it's further (farther?) along than i would've had it. and my weld-on in the background with a corvair (i think) just chillin.

i know it's a shitty review, but so what? it's my blog. and i'd rather talk chops with him over asking the same bullshit questions.

and here's my "new" pick-up. a little standard cab short bed s-10. piles for miles.
